Before there was Sonic Arts, there was the music. Now there is synthesis.
Bold and artful — a husband-and-wife duo whose music moves fluidly across folk, rock, world, and progressive territory.
These two seasoned musicians have enjoyed a remarkable journey, marked by numerous successful releases, accolades, and a fan base that spans the globe. Their folk-rock project Woven Green — rooted in conscious songwriting and world music — and their progressive rock catalog Waking Stone have earned international press across Mexico, Spain, Italy, the UK, and the USA, with sync licenses placed on Discovery, TLC, Oprah, PBS, and the History Channel.
Jim brings guitar mastery — trained under a direct student of Andrés Segovia — alongside Native American and concert flute, ambient loop architecture, and a gift for arrangements that hold a room in genuine suspense. Ashley is a conservatory-trained vocalist whose soaring range and soulful depth have led critics to describe her as "stunning," "otherworldly," and "worthy of emulating." Together they are as comfortable in an intimate acoustic setting as they are leading a full electric rock set.
Now, they've embarked on a new chapter — relocating from their home near Washington DC to the city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico — bringing their catalog, their craft, and their community with them.
